Evan returned from Congo last Monday, June 18. What an amazing experience and what a profound impact it has had on our lives and the lives of our families and friends.
He will be posting about the trip soon.
We just ask for your prayers for God's guidance and our willingness to submit to His Holy plans for our lives.
Thank you for all of your support and prayers!

evan leaving for congo
source.
I borrowed this photo from a friends blog post. It's a special post because it is the last post she wrote before leaving for the Congo on the same trip my husband will be leaving on this Friday.
What a beautiful post. I am so anxious for my husband to experience Congo and bring it home to me.

staggering statistics
This is a very sad video dipicting what it is like to be an orphan in the Congo. I know it is difficult for us to relate here in the states. As you can see from the information found on child-sponsorship.com, imagine where you live having every one out of four of its inhabitants as an orphaned child.
